Start by separating three layers: the Android provider setting, the FlashGo session and the app receiving the location. Test one layer at a time.
Use responsiblyFlashGo includes developer testing among its stated uses. Receiving apps can detect or reject mocked locations; follow applicable laws and third-party terms.
Check the provider
- Confirm FlashGo is installed in the active user profile.
- Open Developer Options → Select mock location app.
- Choose FlashGo again, even if it already appears selected.
Check the active location
- Use a point or short route near a recognizable landmark.
- Start the location change and keep FlashGo active for the first check.
- Try a moderate route speed.
- Open a simple map or your own debug screen to inspect the coordinate.
Check the receiving app
A third-party app may cache a previous fix, combine GPS with IP or reject mocked coordinates. Test first in software you own, log raw coordinates and restart the receiving process before changing more settings.
Common questions
Why is the location unchanged after I press Start?
FlashGo may not be selected as the mock provider, or the receiving app may be showing cached data.
Can every app accept a mock location?
No. Receiving apps choose how to handle mocked coordinates.
