Selecting FlashGo does not grant location permission to another app. Check the receiving app permission and the device location service independently.
Check the receiving app
- Open Settings โ Apps โ the receiving app โ Permissions.
- Allow location for the scenario you are testing.
- Choose precise location when the test requires exact coordinates.
- Open the app again and request a fresh position.
Check the device and provider
- Confirm the main Location service is on.
- Confirm FlashGo is selected under Select mock location app.
- Start a single point and keep FlashGo open for the first check.
- Verify the point in a trusted map.
Reset one layer at a time
If the issue remains, restart only the receiving app first. Then toggle the device Location service. Re-select FlashGo last. Changing several settings at once makes the cause harder to identify.
Common questions
Does mock location bypass app permission?
No. The receiving app still needs Android location permission.
Why is the point approximate?
The user may have granted approximate rather than precise location.
Use responsiblyReceiving apps can detect or reject mocked locations. Follow applicable laws and third-party terms; do not use FlashGo to mislead others or bypass restrictions.
