What Happens When a Simulated GPS Route Ends?

Plan the final waypoint, repeated routes and return to real GPS after a mock location route completes.

The final behavior can depend on the route mode, repetition setting, app version and whether the session remains active. Verify it before relying on a long test.

Run a short confirmation route

  • Create a two-point route lasting a few minutes.
  • Set repetitions deliberately.
  • Keep a trusted map open near the expected end.
  • Record whether the point stays at the destination, repeats or the session stops.

Choose the intended test ending

  • For arrival testing, put the final point clearly inside the destination area.
  • For loop testing, confirm the transition back to the start.
  • For background testing, let the screen lock before the final point.
  • Record the exact FlashGo and device settings with the result.

Return to real location

  • Stop the FlashGo session.
  • Select None as the mock location app.
  • Request a fresh position in a trusted map.
  • Restart a receiving app if it still shows cached route data.

Common questions

Will every route stay at the final point?

Do not assume so; verify the current app version and repetition settings with a short route.

Why does another app still show the destination?

It may be showing a cached last-known location. Request a fresh position after stopping FlashGo.

Use responsiblyReceiving apps can detect or reject mocked locations. Follow applicable laws and third-party terms; do not use FlashGo to mislead others or bypass restrictions.
