Convert coordinates
Decimal degrees format
Decimal degrees use signed numbers: north and east are positive, south and west are negative. Example: 37.7749, -122.4194.
DMS format
DMS separates degrees, minutes and seconds and adds a direction. Example: 37° 46′ 29.64″ N, 122° 25′ 9.84″ W.
Use coordinates safely
Verify latitude is between -90 and 90 and longitude between -180 and 180. Do not publish private home, customer or employee coordinates in shared test fixtures.
