Android includes a developer setting that lets one selected app provide test locations. This guide uses that supported mechanism—no rooting, patched apps or hidden workarounds.
Use responsiblyFlashGo includes developer testing among its stated uses. Receiving apps can detect or reject mocked locations; follow applicable laws and third-party terms.

- Set “Select mock location app” to None if the test is finished.
- Open a trusted map and wait for a fresh real position.
- If location remains stale, restart the receiving app or location service.
Common questions
Do I need USB debugging?
No. USB debugging and selecting a mock location app are separate Developer Options.
Is this the same as a VPN?
No. A VPN changes network routing and visible IP; mock location changes the device location input.
