How to Select a Mock Location App on Android

Find the Select mock location app setting and choose FlashGo on current Android devices.

The exact menu label varies by manufacturer, but the setting lives inside Developer Options. FlashGo must be installed before it can appear in the picker.

Use responsiblyFlashGo includes developer testing among its stated uses. Receiving apps can detect or reject mocked locations; follow applicable laws and third-party terms.

Open Developer Options

On many devices: Settings → System → Developer options. Samsung often places Developer options at the bottom of Settings. Xiaomi and other manufacturers may use “Additional settings.” Search Settings for “mock location” if the path differs.

Choose FlashGo

  • Open “Select mock location app.”
  • Choose FlashGo from the installed app list.
  • Return to FlashGo and start a location or short route.
  • Verify the result in an app you control.

If the option is missing

Confirm Developer Options is enabled and FlashGo is installed for the current profile. Managed work devices can restrict developer settings; do not bypass an organization policy—ask the administrator for a test device.
