How to Set Mock Location on Motorola

Enable Developer Options on a Motorola phone, select FlashGo and restore the real GPS position after testing.

Motorola uses a close-to-standard Android settings layout. Developer options normally appears under System after Build number has been tapped seven times.

1. Enable Developer Options

  • Open Settings → About phone, or Settings → System → About phone.
  • Tap Build number seven times.
  • Confirm the screen lock if prompted.
  • Return to Settings → System → Developer options.

2. Choose FlashGo

  • Open Select mock location app.
  • Choose FlashGo from the list.
  • Start one selected location and verify it in a trusted map.
  • Build a short route only after the single point works.

3. Restore normal location

  • Stop FlashGo.
  • Set Select mock location app to None.
  • Request a fresh location in a map.
  • Turn Developer options off if you do not need any other developer settings.

Where are Developer Options on Motorola?

They normally appear under Settings → System after activation.

Why does my real location not return immediately?

The receiving app may have cached the last coordinate. Stop FlashGo, select None and request a fresh fix.

Do Motorola phones need root?

No. The standard Android mock location provider does not require root.
