How to Set Mock Location on Google Pixel

Enable Android Developer Options on a Google Pixel, select FlashGo and verify a mock GPS point or route.

Pixel phones follow the standard Android menu structure, making them a useful baseline for testing location-aware Android apps.

1. Reveal Developer Options

  • Open Settings → About phone.
  • Scroll to Build number and tap it seven times.
  • Confirm the screen lock when prompted.
  • Go back to Settings → System → Developer options.

2. Select and test FlashGo

  • Open Select mock location app and choose FlashGo.
  • In FlashGo, choose a recognizable location near a landmark.
  • Start the point and check it in a trusted map.
  • For movement, add a short route and use a moderate speed first.

3. Return to real GPS

  • Stop the point or route in FlashGo.
  • Set Select mock location app to None.
  • Open a trusted map and request a fresh position.
  • If the old point remains, restart that app or toggle Location off and on.
